The Public Information Officer works closely with all city departments to:

• Coordinate and assist with facilitation of public events and forums
• Coordinate the dissemination of news and other communications to the public and media
• Enhance the transparency of City activities
• Facilitate citizen surveys
• Provide education on City services
• Provide marketing assistance for various departments
